Your shoulders are tense, your lower back hurts and you feel a tingling creeping up the back of your head, an early symptom of a headache. It is hard to keep your eyes open and stay focused. Hopefully, no one approaches you now unexpectedly! You could go off like a bomb for no reason.

Do you recognize yourself? Do you sometimes feel stressed, overwhelmed, or simply too exhausted to accomplish anything?
You are not alone. It happens and is totally normal.
It can be pressure at work or sometimes daily life and its obligations can simply overwhelm and trigger you. It could also be the constant newsflash and horrendous headlines that are thrown at us at a never-ending pace or the unreasonable need to stay accessible at all times for everyone via our smartphones can bring us to our knees.
The signs of excessive, even unhealthy stress can manifest in various ways. The examples of tension and headaches are described in the introduction here. Other people face sleep problems or find it difficult to concentrate.
Are you accompanied by constant worries or losing your drive? A clarifying conversation can work wonders!
You can accept the fact that sometimes you need outside help.
Think of your favorite professional athlete. He or she has a coach specific to his or her sport. Additionally, most probably a fitness coach, a physiotherapist, a mental coach and someone to manage (social) media and public relations. The list of professional support is long but necessary to perform on top of their game.
You are allowed to seek out support as well!
Psychological counseling supports you to see your situation more clearly and understand your emotions better. You will learn to develop effective coping strategies, relieve and even learn to prevent stress.
Here are some reasons why I can help you:
Individual Support: You are unique and have your specific needs. Together we will develop a tailored strategy, customized to your specific situations and goals.
Safe Space: You will be offered time and a safe space to share your challenges and open up about your feelings and worries. A clarifying conversation can work wonders already! Everything you share stays confidential of course. We will not judge, but identify and define a way forward for you!
Tools and Techniques: In more than 1.200 hours of theoretical & practical training to be certified as a psychosocial counselor I have learned a multitude of practical tools and techniques that can help you better manage your thoughts and emotions. Together we will identify which ones work for you and how to incorporate them into your life.
Are you unsure if we are a fit or still have some questions or concerns? No worries, let's get to know each other first. In a 15-minute conversation, we will address your questions and figure out if and how we can work together.
